Scott Winder is a Managing Director at RNA Advisors, leading the firm’s tax and financial reporting initiatives. For 20 years Mr. Winder has provided valuation and advisory services for a range of purposes, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and financial and tax reporting. He has served companies in the life sciences and technology industries, with particular experience in the biopharmaceutical/medical device/tools and diagnostics segments (life sciences) and the enterprise hardware/business apps/ecommerce/digital content and media segments (technology).
Prior to joining RNA Advisors, Mr. Winder was Co-Head of Private Market Valuation Services at Morgan Stanley at Work, co-founded and co-led Solium Analytics, and led the Life Science practice at SVB Analytics. Mr. Winder began his valuation career with Burrill & Company and in the Business Valuation practice of Deloitte. Prior to Burrill, Scott spent almost ten years in early to late-stage biotechnology companies, holding a number of roles in R&D and technology development.
Scott holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Haas School of Business (UC Berkeley), a bachelor’s degree in human biology from Occidental College.
